Will they both ever admit that they want and maybe already have more? The narration by B. Harrison was great, as always! This was a good addition to the Seaside Series with Jana and Hunter's story. The pair have issues with commitment but as they continue to have 'one night' hook ups Hunter becomes determined to have Jana admit her feelings for him as his grow for her. The pair were relatable as characters and had amazing chemistry together. The pair have issues that are relatable to others and are have strong relationships with their families. I continue to enjoy the emphasis on family in Ms.
Foster's books as they carry over in all of her books. The narration by Mr.
Seaside Summers Series by Melissa Foster
Harrison flowed well and was enjoyable to the listener. He was enthusiastic in depicting the characters in making the plot flow and move. I enjoyed this book from the start and would recommend it to others. This is the story of Jana and Hunter. Both these characters have appeared in previous Seaside Summer series. Their story has to be one of my new favourites loved the chemistry between these two! I love all of Melissa Foster's books and this one did not fail to deliver.
If you want to escape in the wonderful world of Provincetown which is full of the most delicious men on the planet for a couple of hours then this is the ideal book for you! Having this story on audio is a brilliant idea as you can This is the story of Jana and Hunter. Having this story on audio is a brilliant idea as you can listen whilst at work or driving!! Have been guilty of taking the long road home so I can listen to one more chapter!! Mar 18, Cindy rated it really liked it. Jana Garner is a boxer and a dancer.
Hunter Lacroux is a metal sculptor. Both artistic, and both definitely not looking for a relationship, but boy did they ever have sizzling sex. Hooking up was the way to go — no baggage. Between their brothers and their friends, how could they possibly manage to keep their non-relationship private??? But if Jana Garner is a boxer and a dancer. Enjoy this story and catching up with the Seaside gang, too. Melissa Foster has written the most emotional, fun story yet. Harrison narrates the audiobook and he is fantastic!
Jana Garner was a boxer, dance instructor, and waitress with a stubborn streak. She had some bad past experiences from her past boyfriends, now she has big problems with committing. Hunter Lacroux creates metal sculptures and his past has not been rosie. When he hooked up with Jana, he was ready to commit to only her.
The only problem was Jana didn't believe him and put him thr Melissa Foster has written the most emotional, fun story yet. The only problem was Jana didn't believe him and put him through hell. Can they get things straighten out? I have read the book 3 or 4 times already, but listening to a book is different. You get caught up in the story and BJ Harrison does a very good job of narrating, even with the female characters.
This is about 2 people who don't think they can do a relationship. Jana, with the help of her seaside ladies starts to believe in herself and Hunter. I love catching up with the original seaside ladies and seeing a younger generation forming. Love the chunky dunking, with Teresa getting her own back. Lo I have read the book 3 or 4 times already, but listening to a book is different. Looking forward to listening to more from the Seaside gang I was enthralled with Jana's spunk and independence. She was the total challenge for the ultimate playbook, Hunter.
I really like this series and hope it will continue. The Seaside Sisters are a hoot. I can't wait to see what they'll do or get into next. If you like snarky couples who love with their whole heart then this book n is for you. This couple doesn't think they will ever make a good boyfriend or girlfriend so they keep hooking up with each other until their hearts tell them otherwise.
A must read Yes a must read. This is a first time reading of her books. Will be looking forward to reading her other books! May 17, Faith rated it it was amazing. They are almost always funny as well as heartfelt. Great for a light read. Mar 08, Melanie rated it it was amazing. With a challenging and nonstop life, Jana Garner needs to keep everything organized and as is. While she can adapt to change she likes the way things in her life are - without complications. So When things start to get a bit out of order Jana is left grasping to get it all back under control, and Hunter Lacroux is not one to make that happen. Jana is no longer the commitment kinda of gal when it comes to me, not after her hurtful past so the flaming hot hookups she has with Hunter should stay just like that- only hookups.
Problem is , even with all her hidden insecurities deep below her strong shell Jana is finding it too difficult to deal with her feelings towards Hunter. He has a past of his own and it goes well beyond what she wants to get mixed up in. The more she steps back, the more Hunter steps up, left and right even when he screws things up he is becoming a fixture in her life that she hadn't anticipated.

Can she get over broken memories and move forwards? Or will Hunter lose that charm and end up hurting her in the end? No doubt about it. He has no trouble getting anyone he wants , but he's suddenly unable to look past Jana and their intense nights together. She is stubborn , which makes an interesting collison considering he's just as stubborn as her.
He likes her passion and dedication, and the more he spends time with her the more she becomes an inspiration while he helps out a friend. His feelings start to ignite and his wants expanding beyond the bedroom door with Jana which is a problem because not only does he need to figure out how to prove he's not only worth a chance, but at the same time, Jana is just as well.
He is determined to show her the past doesn't matter anymore and both of them have moved on, but it's not that easy. Both being stubborn and headstrong in two different directions Jana and Hunter aren't afraid to voice their sides or even frustrations to each other. When it gets right down to it, they are both extremely similar and neither really wants to admit that.
Can Hunter come clean with his feelings and not have Jana bolt out the door from her fears? Will they both be able to fully overcome their past and move on? You will have to find out in the sizzling new installment of Seaside Summers: Seaside Embrace to find out. Always enjoy Melissa Fosters books! Characters are very strong, always solid and believable. This was the only one out of all of Fosters books that I started reading and wondered if the two main characters would not even end up together.
They are totally stubborn and set in their ways, even with their past proceeding them , they were themselves stuck in their ways enough so it wouldn't always come to a happy ending. Jana and Hunter are two very intense people, strong willed and then some, so it doesn't always mix very well. The further along the story went though, both of them grew and in turn flourished into possibly my favorite stories of all.
Foster always creates such a flow in her writing you get caught up in it and root for each person, this one was done very well. If you like a good funny, yet heartwarming story pick up Seaside Embrace! Dec 08, Casey rated it really liked it Shelves: I am a huge fan of hers, and I knew this book would turn things around for me! It was so much fun to read, and I just can't help but be happy when reading a book from Melissa Foster. As with all the previous Seaside Summers and Love in Bloom books, this one is a standalone story.
For full enjoyment I recommend reading these in order as you Find this review and more at Ramblings From This Chick I have been in a bit of a book slump lately, but Seaside Embrace by Melissa Foster pulled me right out! For full enjoyment I recommend reading these in order as you will see familiar faces since they are interconnected and each book is definitely worth the read. Hunter Lacroux spends his days making beautiful metal sculptures at the business Grunters Ironworks which he owns with his brother Grayson.
At night he spends his time with different women, never sticking with any of them for longer than a few nights. But after a few nights with Jana Garner, he finds himself no longer interested in other women. Jana and Hunter spend their time together either arguing or in the bedroom and both of them aren't looking for a relationship. But as Hunter realizes that he wants only Jana, he sets out to romance her and make her see how good they could be together outside the bedroom as well as in.
But Jana has been burned in the past, and Hunter will have his work cut out for him to convince her they are worth the risk. I really liked Hunter and Jana. Jana was feisty and strong, and I loved how comfortable she was with herself. She had been hurt and had some insecurities, and there was a really vulnerable side to her. But she also wasn't afraid to be who she was and she showed a lot of courage throughout this book. Hunter was sexy and charming, and I loved what a stand-up guy he was.
He helped his friends and had a great set of values, and once he decided he wanted more from Jana he went about it in such a sweet way.

He might not have done the romance thing before her, but when he set his mind to it he was amazing at it. I liked that he wanted her for more than just the physical connection they clearly had, and he was so great with her. He showed her that they were compatible on every level, and I really loved seeing these two get to know one another in ways that they hadn't previously.
Not just that, but these two were seriously hot together and I couldn't get enough of them! Overall, this was another fantastic addition to this series from Melissa Foster and I loved Jana and Hunter's story.
I always have a great time reading books from Melissa Foster, and this one is definitely one of my favorites yet. I loved seeing familiar faces and getting more of the girls and their hilarious moments together. Just when I think that I couldn't love these characters more, Melissa Foster finds a way to prove me wrong!
These books are all about love, friendship, and family and I just can't stop laughing and smiling the entire time I am reading. If you are looking for a great contemporary romance filled with love and emotion as well as fun and sexy times, look no further than Melissa Foster! She is a fantastic writer, and you honestly can't go wrong with any of her books. I can't wait to get Grayson's story as well as whatever else Melissa Foster writes in the future. But even though Jana promised herself that she wasn't going to hook up with Hunter ever again, she still finds herself sneaking out of bed with him. No woman has ever made Hunter feel the way he does around Jana, and when he finds she spurs on his creativity he has to revaluate what he wants with her, especially when he looks at what his friend Clark nearly loses I think it's safe to say that Seaside Embrace is the hottest Seaside Summers book to date. There was still a good level of sweet and romantic in the book but there were also some very steamy scenes between the two leads, and it was clear that they not only had great chemistry but trusted each other a lot.
The original Seaside gang have become more secondary characters now, though they're still fun loving and have great personalities that shine through the writing, but it's good for newer characters like Hunter, Sky and Jana to take centre stage. Though there are links back to previous books in the series, most notably Sky and Sawyer's book as well as Pete and Jenna's, Seaside Embrace can be read as a standalone. But this series melds together the chemistry, the friendship and the romanticness of new relationships that its great to read more than one! Deil— the name was Scottish for "devil.

You won't be able to put this book down once you start reading it! I don't know how Melissa keeps doing it, but this is another 5 star read! Jana and Hunter are so easy to fall in love with and are extremely believable characters.
I also love how characters from past books are tied to current the current books. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a great romance. I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Hunter is known as a player but when he and Jana meet and hook up they don't think that they will see eachother again so when his sister Sky makes them come and watch her boyfriend Sawyer train he doesn't expect to run into Jana who is his trainers sister.
That night they all go out and they get together again but Hunter is not prepared to let her ocut of his sights this time. Jana has had a problem with relationships but with Hunter that seems to be heading out the window he is romancing her just like she asked and shi is loving it but her feelings for him are growing and she doesn't know if its for real … Show more Show less.
I've listened to a lot of audio books written by Melissa Foster, but she surprised me a bit with this one. The beginning was certainly different. The characters of Jana and Hunter were sexual at the very beginning--with no romance in sight! In a Melissa Foster book? Neither Jana nor Hunter is looking for a relationship But then Jana isn't much into going after her dreams. When Hunter can't even get Jana to say that she wants him and she tells him he doesn't know anything about romance, Hunter takes it as a challenge. What starts as a challenge just to get her to admit she wants him soon turns into way more.
Will they both ever admit that they want and maybe already have more? The narration by B. Harrison was great, as always! He's bold, headstrong and aggressive, but so is she. How they navigate each other thru the story lines is great. Another link in the Seaside sequel that keeps me wanting more. With every Melissa Foster book, I fall in love and this is no exception! Hunter and Jana take your heart but I truly fell for Hunter!!!
